Ive finished the Tamiya kit for the Vought F4U-1A Corsair. There were quite a few mods as I also used the Aires #4225 resin set. It came with the Pratt & Whitney R-2800 double wasp engine, highly detailed cockpit, gun/wheel bays, and some other various parts. The resin required a significant amount of sawing, cutting, and sanding. I'd recommend a small hand saw and a rotary tool (Dremel) in addition to sandpaper and sanding sticks For a more detailed look at the engine and cockpit build/painting, check out my other video for this kit: https://youtu.be/-iiCx6i_NR0 I used Tamiya acrylics and panel wash for painting, Mr Hobby clear coats, and MIG pigments and chipping fluid. This kit took 1 month to complete with around 50 hours of work put into it. I had 7 hours of raw footage so obviously I had to leave some parts out. If you have a question about how I did something, just ask and I can explain.
