Big sister helps out her baby brother

Firstly, please IGNORE THE DOGs! This is about the miracle of Autism! Start HARD WORK early with an Autistic child and great things like THIS will happen! This is Tyler. He was diagnosed at age 9 months old by professionals, including a court-ordered therapist. When my grandson, Tyler was 2 years old in 2009, you can see here that he LOVED his newborn baby sister, Sara. I used a toy baby-doll for about 6 months for him to "practice" with while his mother was pregnant. He practiced loving the baby instead of just throwing her down! :) He put the doll to bed, he put the "baby" in her swing, etc.... thus his SHOCK in this video when he realized it was a REAL baby in the swing this time! Practice WORKS!!! (Tyler was diagnosed as Moderately Autistic. The first "signs" of his Autism were his walking on his "tip toes" constantly, as well as his digression of speech. He said very little, and what he DID say, he would just stop saying, so we taught him sign-language (I learned ASL in Jr. High myself, and my daughter learned it in High School. God knew we would need to know to know ASL for Tyler and Sara! Autism, we are learning, is an extraordinary trait! Autistic folks are GENIUS in certain areas, so don't be afraid of it! I believe Tyler might just be a genius at playing sports... lol He can play some MEAN basketball and baseball). Now, as time went on, Tyler began to display some of the more "negative" traits of Autism, as you can see in another video: http://youtu.be/gcojvl6o62c of Sara. He "attacked" her by biting her all over her face and back. You can see one of the more severe bites on Sara's face as it's healing, in the above mentioned video of Sara running around in her "Bubba's" rain-boots. (Sara is so cute in that video, isn't she?!) He's not behaved like that since, and things are definitely better now. BTW, in this video, Mommy cannot pick Tyler up due to the C-Section To see Tyler and Sara in my latest music video, enjoy: http://youtu.be/C6548wx8-Q4 (Also, for more info. and all of my music, visit: http://www.reverbnation.com/kathyyodertreat Download to your iPod, computer, or whatever device you listen to... for FREE. Email me at kathytreat@gmail.com for comments, donations, etc. God bless! (P.S. - the dog that's barking was a dog we were pet-sitting, so she wasn't used to all the chaos. Our own dogs are MUTE, and were used to our family, and were happy. Everyone in my family is blessed and loved, including the pets! BTW - I have NO idea how to edit-out the noise or the end part of this video to make it shorter.... sorry!) Thanks again! PSS - we do not accept negative attitudes towards his Autism or dogs, not even regarding this video. If you have something negative to write, please just keep it to yourself. THANKS!
