My hand made film holder or plate holder is nearly finished. For a ground glass I am just going to fit the glass into my film holder, this ensures complete consistency. The drawback is that I need to focus and then go load my film, I will still attempt portraits with a head prop. I will in the near future make a separate ground glass but the precision will be very critical and chance of missed focus will be high.
