Before catching fish from this beel or canal authority of this beel anounce using mike in the whole Thana area that in the specific days fish will be catching & everyone is invited to catch fish for free. So lot of peoples come from many villages with lots of types fishing tools. Some bought net some Polo(Kind of fish trapping tools making by Bamboo) and throwing arrow to catch fish from the beel. Some haunt fish using throwing arrow to the fish and some trapping fish using net & polo. Bengali Polo is actually kind of cage that made by bamboo to trap fish under the cage.
