Topwater Stripers Tight to Shore, + Tog Fishing

Video is from Sat 11/12/16, I drove to the shore with my kayak to hopefully get on some Stripers, with Tog being the back up plan. I was feeling pretty lazy once I got down there and figured Id snoop around the beaches before launching, when I came across a school of bait with some fish on it, grabbed my light rod and started fishing, getting a few fish to eat a smack it jr, landing one small keeper at 32" and a short. It wasn't easy, the fish were finicky, more bait than fish, and eventually the crowds grew to the point I lost interest and launched the yak to try for tog. The toggin was OK, I fished some structure tight to shore and ended up finding a bite, getting a few decent tog. It has been a tough fall, the past few weeks have proven challenging, the bites are few and far between, tons of baitfish out there with no fish on them, I think most people out there are finding that the bite is tough, it is super frustrating going out there and giving it your all and coming up short only to hear about the bite that happened 10 miles north or south of you, it has been that kind of fall.
