Evie, Jay, Carlos and Audrey borrow a boat from Chief Tui to search for Moana and the pirate ship that captured her. They don't know that the pirate ship's captain is actually Ben. Ben ate the forbidden fruits and he doesn't remember anything from his past. He tries to hide from Mal that he doesn't remember anything including her. Moana is the only one who knows about his secret. Jay and Audrey infiltrate the pirate ship. They rescued Mal, but Moana refuses to follow Jay. Instead, Jay and Audrey get caught by Ben. Ben doesn't remember who Audrey and Jay are, so he locks them away. Carlos, Evie and Mal escape from the cursed pirate ship. Carlos and Evie think they rescued Mal from an evil pirate captain, but Mal tells them that actually Ben is the captain of the ship and they need to go back.
