For the first time since his gunfight with Frank Miller years ago, Will Kane (Lee Majors) and his wife Amy (Katherine Cannon) return to his hometown of Hadleyville. The town is in the grip of a bounty-hunting marshal named J.D. Ward (Pernell Roberts) and his two gun-happy deputies.
