Hello Ladybugs! Trimming our natural hair is a very healthy hair practice. I know most moms wonder when is the right age to give your little ones their first trim. I waited until I felt Elle really needed it. She is 2 years and 7 months old. This is how I trimmed Elle's hair for the very first time. I trimmed her freshly washed hair. It was air drying for several hours before we trimmed it so it wasn't soaking wet. If your littles one hair is soaking wet this shouldn't be a problem. I do not blow dry Elle's hair. I never have.
