The shad have been providing all the entertainment as the sardines remain elusive. Gamefish have been spotted nailing the shoals of shad which are even seen milling about surfers feet on the backline. There really are many of them, albeit on the small size. This instructional clip also portrays the double hook version of the versatile and effective shad trace.
