Mich (Barbie Imperial) is asphyxiated while having lunch with David (RK Bagatsing). Unknown to her, someone spiked her dish with seaweeds, which she is allergic to. Adrian (JM de Guzman) rushes to her side as soon as he learned what happened. He decides to stay with Mich and take care of her while she is recovering, leaving the young girl even more confused with his real intentions. Meanwhile, a person from Adrian's past returns to exact revenge on him. Adrian (JM de Guzman) receives backlash from his resort guests following the incident involving Mich (Barbie Imperial). As he and Mich struggle to pacify the fuming guests, David (RK Bagatsing) steps in to sympathize with the worried customers. This, however, culminates in a clash between the two business owners. Elsewhere, Celestina (Vina Morales) tours the young Verano, Amanda (Ara Mina), and Sac (Joshua Colet) to her abode. While Amanda enjoys glancing at the paintings in the mansion, Mich takes the chance to ask the de Alegre matriarch about Vicente (Dennis Padilla) and Lupe (Candy Pangilinan). Adrian (JM de Guzman) arrives just in time to save April (Nikka Valencia) from being killed by Franco (Victor Silayan). After the rescue, the Tranquila Resort owner demanded April to tell everything she knows about Mich (Barbie Imperial). Upon hearing April’s revelation, Adrian then realizes the urgent need to protect the young Verano at all costs. Celestina (Vina Morales), meanwhile, reveals Adrian’s dark past to Mich. Nevertheless, Mich remains to have faith in Adrian despite Amanda (Ara Mina) and Sac’s (Joshua Colet) concern for her safety. Elsewehere, Amber’s (Jane Oineza) efforts to inch closer to Adrian start to bear fruit.
