最新版はこちら - https://youtu.be/_WDa3VzfJK8 ファイナルファンタジーシリーズ（FINAL FANTASY series、略称：FFシリーズ）は、日本のゲーム設計者坂口博信によって生み出され、スクウェア・エニックス（旧スクウェア）によって開発・販売されているRPGのシリーズ作品（一部MMORPG、アクションRPG）。CGアニメ、アニメでも展開されている。 1987年に発売された『ファイナルファンタジー』を第1作とする日本製のRPGシリーズ。派生作品を含め様々な世界観を持った作品が数多く発売されており、シリーズ全タイトルの世界累計出荷本数は1.1億本以上（48作品）（2014年3月時点）を数える。国内を代表するゲームシリーズの一つである。 本シリーズのタイトル名称は「略称が"FF"（エフエフ）となること」を前提として考案されたものである。当初は『ファイティング・ファンタジー』というタイトル案も候補に挙がったたが、同名のボードゲームが既に存在していたため、現在の名称に変更したとされる。 一方、第1作制作当時、それまでのスクウェアの業績が芳しくなく、制作者たちの間でもおそらく最後の作品、「最後の夢」になるであろうという意味を込めて『ファイナルファンタジー』と名付けられたという説も存在するが、坂口博信は「確かに当時は背水の陣だったけれど、Fで始まる単語ならなんでもよかった」と状況は肯定しつつも、名付けには直接関係はないと否定している。 前述のとおり、開発スタッフは「FF（エフエフ）」という略称を想定し、現在公式な略称は「FF」とされるが、「ファイファン」と呼ぶ人もいる。 最新作として2016年9月30日にファイナルファンタジーXVの発売が予定されている。 ------------- Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー Fainaru Fantajī?) is a science fiction and fantasy media franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, and developed and owned by Square Enix (formerly Square).
