The show which is respected and revered by all will showcase talents across the age group of 4 to 14 years. The young contestants have come from different districts of Bengal and India through a vigorous audition process. The participants will be judged by none other than the most esteemed veterans of music fraternity like Kumar Sanu, Haimanti Shukla, Joy Sarkar, and Mahalaxmi Iyer. The show will see popular music artists like Daler Mehndi, Kaushiki, Mamata Sharma, Rashid Khan from time to time as celebrity judges to give their valuable advice to the participants. The opening episode will see Emraan Hasmi and Vidya Balan mingle with the participants and shake their legs to the songs sung by the L'il Champs. Also, Ranvir Singh & Sonakshi Sinha will add the celebrity quotient in the first week of the launch of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs 2013. The show is hosted by the famous chocolate boy of Bengal - Jishu Sengupta; he has been aligned to music since he was a child.
