Here's a fun project for anyone to try that want to make a functional flint-tipped pump drill. I show how to make one in this video using mostly raw materials. These drills work great and if you make slate/soapstone/pipestone pendants or gorgets, you can use this drill to make a hole in them that looks like the original holes that were drilled by early people.
