Delicious and easy to make kombdi vade. Served with chicken and mutton curry.authentic recipe of coastal region ,very popular ,and made during weddings. ingredients- For flour- rice- 1/2 kg jowar- 1/8 kg wheat- 1/8 kg split black gramand split bengal gram - 1/8 each coriender and cumin seeds- 1 tbsp each fenugreek seeds- 1 tsp salt oil jaggery ,semolina- 1 tbsp each method- roast split black and bengal gram separetely for 3 to 4 mins on low flame-keep aside and let it cool. roast cumin,coriender seeds and fenugreek seeds for a min and let it cool. once cool, grind rice,wheat jowar ,both split grams and cumin,coriender and fenugreek together into flour. grind in flour mill. take 2 cups flour, boil 1.5 cup water ,add jaggery ,semolina and salt and bring it to boil. add flour,mix and cover for 5 mins and keep. knead by adding some water. once knead. create space in center and put 1 tsp ht oil and seal with flour. keep overnight. next day again knead by adding 2 sp oil. take small flour make small balls ,flaten with palms. make small hole in center. once all vades are made dep fry till golgen brown on low to medium flame. serve hot with chicken or mutton curry.
