WASHING CLOTHES IN PHILIPPINES

My #BecomingFilipino journey towards Region 11, found me passing through Bukidnon and noticing something... Have you ever driven down the road in the Philippines and noticed these incredibly large fields of what looks like grass? Chances are you were looking at Fields of sugar cane! Sugar cane or in Filipino "Tubo" is a very abundant crop found across the Philippines! Driving across Central Mindanao I found myself in the middle of Bukidnon and an area with lots of Tubo being harvested! Walking up and sitting down with a few local "Tapasero" (Tapas means to chop) I couldn't help but respect the hard work they were doing... After spending time with them. I couldn't help but respect them as people. Working incredibly hard under the heat of the sun, but yet still sharing moments of happiness and knowledge with me. This is my experience being a "Tapasero" and harvesting Sugar Cane in rural Mindanao, Philippines. This video is incredibly raw, and real. "KitKit, Pang-os, SupSup....Lami!" Super Apir!
