*watch in HD and theater mode* Jikook Your Name au☆彡(contains fake subtitles) R E A D M E -This au is based on the movie Your name (kimi no na wa)- So I got this idea while searching for footage for another video and I came across bts' chicken commercials. In one of them Jungkook walks on the field and looks up at the sky and it just reminded me of Your name. This was also my first time doing fake subs and I'm not really sure how well I did. It was a lot harder than I expected too. My first idea was to try and make the video as similar to the movie as possible but I had to change the plot quite a bit bc I didn't want to make it too long. In this au Jungkook is Mitsuha and Jimin is Taki. If you haven't watched Your name you definitely should it's very beautiful and I really love the soundtrack. I listened to it a lot during last summer. Kimi no Na wa [君の名は] OST - Kataware Doki (Violin/Piano Cover) by rainbowpig2 【君の名は。】なんでもないや / RADWIMPS (cover) by 粉ミルク (his acoustic covers are so good!) *please do not re-upload* Here is the plot synopsis because I know it might be a little confusing. Jimin lives in Soul and Jungkook lives in Busan. One day they switch bodies and it starts to happen regularly after that. At first they are really confused as to what is going on so Jimin (in Jungkook’s body) writes "who are you" to Jungkook so that when they switch Jungkook sees it and writes back who he is and then Jimin answers the next time they switch. Others start to notice differences in their behaviour. ( Namjoon, Yoongi and Jin. ) They start to message through their notes on their phones and leave messages for the other to find during the switches. After a while Jungkook proposes that they meet and leaves a note on Jimin’s phone. The next day when Jungkook is coming to meet Jimin, Jimin has a work shift at the restaurant. During work, because he is in a rush to meet Jungkook, he breaks a plate and cuts himself which makes him be late for the meating. Jungkook waits for Jimin and thinks that he got stood up when he doesn’t show up. He waits for Jimin until the last train and leaves with that back to Busan. Back in Busan Jungkook is very upset and goes for a walk and ends up in a field, where he watches the meteor that had been in the news for a couple of days. He hadn’t paid a lot of attention to them though because he had been so pre-occupied with the body swapping. Jimin runs to where they were supposed to meet to be met with no one. Jungkook is sad because he thinks Jimin didn’t want to meet him and Jimin thinks Jungkook had already left and that he was too late, even though it was really because they were living 3 years apart. After the failed meet up Jimin and Jungkook don’t switch again which gets Jimin worried. He feels bad because he was late and tries to call Jungkook (he has the number because he had looked it up from Jungkook’s phone during a switch ). The number does not exist which confuses Jimin even more and he decides to go to Busan to meet Jungkook. He tells his plans to Jin who surprises him by offering a ride. They drive to Busan and stop by a gas station where Namjoon happens to work. Jimin knows him because of the body swapping and decides to ask him where Jungkook is. Namjoon is surprised by the mention of his late best friend and tells Jimin that Jungkook died 3 years ago and that he died because he was on the field where the fraction of the meteor hit that night. Jimin can’t believe what his hearing and questions everything. He then decides to visit the place where the meteor hit and is met by a lake that had formed there. Besides the lake there is a huge tree. Jimin finds old tennis shoes from the beach and hangs them to the tree for Jungkook’s memory. He doesn’t know that the tree actually has a little bit of Jungkook’s spirit because it grew on the place where he had died. When Jimin hangs the shoes their lives connect again and they get thrown in this place between the other side and reality. They meet each other again and that changes the timeline and the time starts to rewind. Jungkook wakes up at his home not remembering anything about Jimin. Jimin wakes up on the field with no clue as to why he is there. He has forgotten Jungkook too. After that they always feel like something is missing but they can’t really pin point what, until one day when they are adults Jungkook sees Jimin through the window of the train and they both hear a bell ring. They try to find each other and finally Jimin sees Jungkook and they meet.
